W każdy piątek o godzinie 18:00 w WSB (w Wyższej Szkole Bankowej) w Bydgoszczy przy ul. Fordońskiej 74, odbywają się cykliczne spotkania angielskojęzycznego, bydgoskiego klubu Toastmasters Speakers’ Zone. U nas zdobędziesz praktyczne umiejętności, poznasz najlepszych mówców i wybitne jednostki, nawiążesz kontakty biznesowe i ciekawe relacje. Zapraszamy!

Toastmasters Speakers’ Zone

We are a non-profit organisation training its members in three different areas: Public speaking / Interpersonal Communication / Leadership.

What are the advantages of joining our club?

• Improve your English speaking skills relevant to different life contexts

• Constant assistance of fellow members and your own mentor who can assist you in improving your skills.
• Materials (written manuals) and training in the form of workshops and lectures as well visits to other clubs in Poland
• Internationally recognized certificates confirming your competence in speaking and leadership, sent from the USA

Info about meetings

Where: Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa, Fordońska Street 74 (Room 105) (please check the fan page on facebook for the current location/invitation for the meeting)
When: Fridays-between 6.00 pm and 8.00 pm (after the meeting we usually continue discussions and go dancing at the afterparty)

Admission: You can attend the meetings as a guest before you join the club as a member. You can perform some roles (ah-counter, time- keeper, etc.) 3 times and present the first speech/project (ice-breaker speech) as a non-member. However, if you decide to develop your speaking and leaderhip skills according to the written Toastmasters manuals, you need to be a member. At first, you are kindly requested to attend the meetings, participate in discussions, and find out if the atmosphere and the mode of learning appeals to you. Meeting format: According to a specific agenda including: prepared speeches and spontaneous utterances (called Table Topics or hot questions), evaluation session and open discussions.
